A visit to Mr. Vic's crazy farm with Zack 9/6/09
We went for a visit to Mr. Vic's on 9/6/09 and this is what we saw.....

Turf war was starting between the big goose and the smaller ducks!We had a good time...Zack loved it!!! There are also some dogs, 3 actually, boxers - Kitty, Ollie and Ted....they think they are lap dogs but lovable!
Zack had a good time playing with the animals...and feeding them, and last but not least, collecting the eggs from the coop. He really liked it when he got to go in the coop and shoo the chickens out!

A quilt made by a 13 yr old girl in the late 1800s all silks - how amazing!!!On October 6th I had the chance to visit the American History Museum and take a "behind the scenes" tour of the quilts that are housed there. Marti Phelps was our "tour guide" through the centuries with regard to the quilts they have and the stories that go along with them. I went with 6 other ladies and we had a great time! After the tour we ate lunch and checked out the Julia Child exhibit at the Museum. Took a detour into the gift shop and got some cool science project books for the boys....can't leave empty handed!!
